Jari Wilson is an Associate Attorney at Romano Law, where she focuses her practice on entertainment law, intellectual property law, and litigation.

Jari earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Michigan State University College of Law, graduating magna cum laude.  During law school, she served as Senior Notes Editor for the Michigan State Law Review, where her Note on copyrights and NFTs was published.  Jari also served as a teaching assistant for both Intellectual Property Legal Writing and Contract Drafting courses and was a student clinician with the First Amendment Law Clinic, where she educated high school journalists on their First Amendment rights.

Before earning her law degree, Jari received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Spanish from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Science in Public Relations from the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

Jari brings a wealth of professional experience from the entertainment and sports industries.  Prior to law school, she worked as a music publicist in Los Angeles and Nashville, collaborating with artists and media outlets across all genres.  She also served as a legal intern at NFL Films, assisting with contract review, rights clearance, and production-related matters.

Outside of her legal practice, Jari enjoys traveling, walking her dog, attending concerts, reading, and discussing all things Taylor Swift (for those curious, Midnights is her favorite album).  With her diverse background and passion for both the creative and legal worlds, Jari is dedicated to providing exceptional counsel and representation to her clients.
