Born and raised in Michigan, Jari Wilson has spent time living and working in Los Angeles, Nashville and New York. She first joined Romano Law in Summer 2022 as a legal extern and is currently a Graduate Law Clerk.
Jari graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law in May 2023. During her time in law school, Jari was a Senior Notes Editor for Michigan State Law Review – where her student Note about copyrights and NFTs was selected for publication – and she was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Student Association and MSU’s Sports & Entertainment Law Association. She was also a student teaching assistant for an Intellectual Property legal writing class and a contract drafting class and she was a student clinician for the First Amendment Law Clinic, where she taught high school journalists about their First Amendment rights.
Prior to law school, Jari received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Spanish from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Science degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. Before attending law school, she spent four years working as a music publicist, where she worked with both artists and members of the media.
In her free time, Jari loves to travel, take her dog on walks, attend concerts, read and talk about all things Taylor Swift.
