Jari Wilson is an Associate Attorney at Romano Law, with a primary focus on entertainment, intellectual property, corporate, employment, and litigation matters.  She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Michigan State University College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude.

During her time in law school, Jari served as a Senior Notes Editor for Michigan State Law Review – where her student Note about copyrights and NFTs was selected for publication – and she was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Student Association and MSU’s Sports & Entertainment Law Association.  She was also a student teaching assistant for an Intellectual Property legal writing class and a contract drafting class. Additionally, Jari served as a student clinician for the First Amendment Law Clinic, where she taught high school journalists about their First Amendment rights.

Prior to law school, Jari received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Spanish from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Science degree in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University.

In addition to working as both an extern and a law clerk at Romano Law, Jari has extensive professional experience in the entertainment and sports industries.  Before attending law school, she spent four years working as a music publicist in Los Angeles and Nashville, where she worked with both artists and members of the media.  She also worked as a legal intern for NFL Films, where she was given the opportunity to assist in a wide range of legal assignments, from reviewing agreements to attending production meetings.

In her free time, Jari loves to travel, take her dog on walks, attend concerts, read, and talk about all things Taylor Swift.
