Chief Legal Officer

YOU ARE:

  • A licensed attorney with at least 10 years’ experience in law and in managing people.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

  • Lead and elevate our lawyers and participate on our Leadership Team.
  • Oversee attorney performance and KPIs. Ensure attorney alignment with Core Values.
  • Develop and enforce accountability measures.
  • Ensure workload is properly distributed, considering expertise and capacity.
  • Handle client communication and satisfaction of work product.
  • Assist with recruiting A-Player attorneys and staff.

Senior Corporate Attorney

YOU ARE:

  • Licensed to practice in New York, California, Florida, Texas or elsewhere in the U.S. or the UK, with a portable book of business.
  • A natural leader, experienced in structuring and negotiating M&A transactions.
  • Practical, prepared and resourceful with excellent people skills.
  • An efficient and effective communicator, in plain-English.
  • Conscientious, thorough and highly accountable.
  • Motivated to learn and improve.  Receptive to constructive feedback.
  • Polished, poised, energetic with a strong work ethic.
  • Always responsive and often proactive, keeping your clients (and team) well-informed.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

  • Lead the Corporate Department and report to the Managing Partner.
  • Supervise lawyers, paralegals, law clerks, and externs on your team.
  • Lead by example: with your diligence, drive for success and positive attitude.
  • Continue to develop your own book of business (currently over $400K) and help drive the continued growth of the firm.

Senior Business Litigation Attorney

YOU ARE:

  • A stellar attorney with at least 10 full years of experience litigating commercial disputes.
  • Licensed to practice in New York, California, Florida, Texas or elsewhere in the U.S. or UK, with a portable book of business.
  • Practical and resourceful.
  • On point with legal research and writing.
  • Driven and take pride in submitting a well-written and researched brief to the Court.
  • Experienced in drafting pleadings, discovery documents, and motions.
  • Positive, resilient, and confident.  You are almost always prepared.
  • Motivated to learn and improve on the job and are receptive to constructive feedback.
  • Polished and poised with a strong work ethic.
  • Respectful towards everyone- clients, adversaries, colleagues, and cleaning staff alike.
  • Always responsive and often proactive, keeping your clients (and team) well-informed.

YOU HAVE:

  • Been involved in document productions and understand how the process works.
  • Attended court conferences and depositions – if not as a first-chair, as a second-chair.
  • A passion for being a lawyer and in particular a litigator.
  • Efficient and effective communication skills, in plain-English.
  • A great sense of humor and litigation deadlines do not phase you.
  • Experience litigating copyright, trademark, or employment matters (a plus, not required).

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

  • Report to our Litigation Chair.
  • Draft, review and revise pleadings, discovery, motions and deliver practical advice.
  • Attend court conferences, take depositions and argue motions, as your skills grow.
  • Lead by example: with your work ethic, constructive feedback, and positive attitude.
  • Have significant client contact.
  • Be involved in client development and the growth of the firm.
  • Continue to develop your own book of business (currently over $400K) and help drive the continued growth of the firm.

Senior Entertainment, Media and Sports Attorney

YOU ARE:

  • A stellar attorney with at least 7-10 years’ experience in film and tv production.
  • Experienced in managing multiple direct reports.
  • Highly knowledgeable in the entertainment industry.
  • Licensed to practice in New York, Florida, California, or elsewhere in the U.S. or the UK, with a portable book of business.
  • Familiar with film finance and tax credit issues (not required but preferred).
  • Conscientious, thorough and you take the accuracy of your work seriously.
  • Proactive, driven to get things done and good under pressure.  You’re even a little competitive.
  • Polished, practical, enthusiastic and you have a strong work ethic.
  • A natural mentor and enjoy helping develop junior staff.
  • Quick to connect with people and do so in a way that motivates and inspires them.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

  • Report to our Managing Partner.
  • Delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Manage and supervise junior team members reporting to you.
  • Have varied activities that include multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Use your expertise-based problem-solving skills to offer innovative solutions.
  • Be required to have a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy, believing that quality should never be compromised.
  • Draft, review and revise contracts or agreements and deliver practical, plain English advice.
  • Lead by example: with your work ethic, your drive for success, and positive attitude.
  • Be involved in client development, marketing and the growth of the firm.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

  • Serve as the frontline liaison, speaking with inbound leads, taking detailed notes and ensuring they are paired with the appropriate attorney.
  • Manage, maintain and track prospective inbound leads to ensure a seamless journey through the pipeline.
  • Meaningfully engage with clients, lawyers and prospects.
  • Use a date-driven approach to track and analyze key metrics to gauge the success of the department.
  • Proactively follow up with prospective clients and assist in guiding them through the onboarding process.
  • Leverage creative problem-solving to think outside the box to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Report to the Client Team Director, providing regular updates and insights.

  • Excellent writing skills.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

  • Prepare and file court documents.
  • Conduct research.
  • Prepare case materials for court appearances, arguments, and depositions.
  • Organize documents for attorney review.
  • Prepare, organize and file documents and correspondence.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling and logistics.
  • Assist in client development by answering phones and speaking with prospective/current clients.
  • Report to a Partner.

Part-Time Content Writer

We are seeking an experienced Content Writer in Law School or with a J.D. to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating engaging, informative, and SEO-optimized content for websites. You will be responsible for developing content that enhances our firm’s online visibility, drives traffic to our website, and converts visitors into potential clients.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

  • Create high-quality, original content for our website, including blog posts, articles, and landing pages.
  • Conduct thorough research on legal topics to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop a content strategy aligned with our business goals.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure it is free of errors and adheres to our brand voice.
  • Monitor website analytics and user engagement to assess the effectiveness of content and make recommendations for improvement.

YOU HAVE:

  • Proven experience as a Content Writer, preferably with experience in the legal industry.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
