What is the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, and how do you qualify?

Individuals who lived or worked in lower Manhattan between 9/11 and May 30, 2002 may be entitled to financial assistance from the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, also known as VCF.  This federally-funded program was created not only for first responders, but also for certain people who:

    • Resided in or worked below Canal Street in New York City during that period, and
  • Have since developed a respiratory or aerodigestive condition (like COPD, asthma or GERD) or nearly any type of cancer (including skin cancer).

For such individuals, we may be able to assist you in making a claim to the VCF.

Even if you currently do not have such a health condition, you may also be entitled to free health monitoring through the World Trade Center Health Program.

Please feel free to contact us for assistance.
