Thomas Rogers

Thomas Rogers brings over 25 years of business operations experience to Romano Law, where, as Director of Operations, he oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations, sits on the senior leadership team as a strategic advisor to the Managing Partners, and turns ambitious goals into practical, well-run systems that let the firm’s attorneys focus on their clients.

Thomas built his operational background in the design world before bringing it to the legal field.  He began his career at a luxury interior design firm, rising from Assistant Controller to Controller and, ultimately, Director of Operations.  In 2009, he joined an international retail design firm as U.S. Manager of Operations, overseeing its domestic operations.  That cross-industry background gives him a distinctive blend of financial discipline, operational focus, and a fresh outside-in perspective.  He brought his unique skillset to Romano Law in 2020 as Operations Manager, before being promoted to Director of Operations in 2021.

Since joining the firm, Thomas has built its operations department from the ground up, modernized financial systems, introduced firm leadership to alternative strategies and systems, and guided a full office relocation from start to finish.  His focus is always the same: building the infrastructure that lets a growing firm scale with confidence.

Thomas holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and, in 2024, completed Fordham University’s Certificate in Structural Issues in Law Firm Management.  He stays active in the wider legal-operations community through COO roundtables and industry networking.  He keeps a close eye on emerging legal technology and how peer firms are evolving, most recently at LegalWeek.

Outside of work, Thomas is a devoted music enthusiast whose passion plays out both on the road and at home, chasing live shows as a longtime concertgoer and building a carefully curated vinyl collection.  His curiosity carries him well beyond the record store: he loves traveling abroad, an evening at the theatre, experimenting in the kitchen, and settling in for a good game night.
