Sahr Dumbar

Sahr Dumbar has nearly two decades of successful litigation and dispute resolution across state, federal, and administrative forums.  Mr. Dumbar brings a deeply client-focused approach to every case, guiding individuals, businesses, and organizations through complex legal issues with precision and integrity.

Mr. Dumbar’s practice spans a wide range of matters, including real estate litigation, construction litigation, probate disputes, landlord-tenant conflicts, business divorces, appeals, and high-stakes commercial litigation.  He also provides advisory services in the formation of business entities, estate planning, and alternative dispute resolution.  His extensive litigation experience includes representing clients in Florida’s county, circuit, and appellate courts, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.

Throughout his career, Mr. Dumbar has successfully represented hundreds of clients in mediation, arbitration, and trial settings, obtaining judgments and settlements collectively valued in the millions of dollars.  His multidisciplinary experience allows him to deliver nuanced and effective legal strategies, whether resolving disputes outside of court or advocating vigorously before a judge.

Mr. Dumbar earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law in 2005, where he was awarded the prestigious Kozyak, Tropin & Throckmorton Award for Outstanding Legal Advocacy.  Mr. Dumbar is a member of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association and is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, the Business Law Section, the Entertainment Law Section of the Florida Bar and Solo and Small Firm Sections of the Florida Bar.

A frequent speaker and writer, Mr. Dumbar has co-authored multiple articles in Construction INK! Magazine and is a recurring guest on The Understanding Money Show on 880 AM, where he provides legal insights on business, finance, and dispute resolution.  Sahr Dumbar is not only a skilled litigator but also a creative force in the world of hip hop, having written, produced, and commercially released music that resonates with a wide audience.
