 Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York College at Cortland in 2005, majoring in anthropology with minors in history and international studies. She continued her education abroad, earning a Master of Arts in International Law and Public Policy from the American University of Paris in 2011.  In 2017, Lauren completed her Juris Doctor Degree at New York Law School as an evening division student.

During law school, Lauren interned for the late Senior Judge Nicholas Tsoucalas at the United States Court of International Trade and contributed to the work of the human rights NGO, Impact Iran. As part of New York Law School’s Dispute Resolution Team, she competed in and coached regional negotiation competitions, honing her negotiation skills.

Lauren enjoys giving back to home community in New York’s Hudson Valley.  Lauren is a graduate of the Leadership Orange Class of 2024. She was appointed to the Board of Directors of Victory Hill Therapeutic Horsemanship.  In 2025, she was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Orange County Arts Council.

Outside of her legal work, she enjoys international travel, hiking, and exploring the Mohonk Preserve.  Lauren lives in the Hudson Valley with her partner, Michael and daughter, Isla.
