Brooklyn Law School
David Yu is a third-year law student attending Brooklyn Law School. David was born in New York, but has spent several years living in Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Tokyo. He attended Northeastern University in Boston and spent a year studying abroad at J.F. Oberlin University in Machida, Japan. Following his graduation, he has worked as a sales associate with Safavieh and as a teacher for a Japanese private school in Tokyo. During his time as a law student, David has worked as a legal extern for Alma Realty and Tapestry. David joined Romano Law as an extern in 2022 and currently assists as a law clerk.
As a law student, David has participated in Brooklyn Law School’s Fashion Society, Intellectual Property Law Association, and has served as Vice President for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. He has also assisted the Jennifer Experience in researching possible legal avenues for relatives of human trafficking victims in the United States. David is interested in corporate law, intellectual property law, fashion law, entertainment law, and contract law.
David enjoys traveling, cooking, exercising, practicing martial arts, and compiling lists of restaurant recommendations for friends.
